23,800 INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS ATTEND LINEAPELLE 104

An exhibition of the highest caliber, sharply focused on research, style, innovation, and cutting edge product and process solutions. As the 104th edition of LINEAPELLE (September 17 19, 2024 Fiera Milano Rho) concludes, it reaffirms its status as a forward looking investment for the fashion, luxury, and design supply chains. This comes in the context of an economy marked by complex uncertainties and inherent challenges in forecasting.
A total of 23,800 industry professionals including 17,573 buyers (57% Italian, 43% international, representing 112 countries) filled the halls of LINEAPELLE 104. They brought a dynamic sense of innovation to counteract a natural decline in attendance, a result of prolonged economic headwinds.
While Italian visitors showed slightly less engagement, this was offset by the increased presence of international attendees, reaffirming LINEAPELLE’s global reach and its essential role in connecting the top players of the industry from major groups and fashion and luxury brands to emerging talents and cutting edge startups. Notable among the attendees were professionals from the United States, China, India, Poland, Brazil, and Mexico, while France, Spain, and Germany saw a decline.
Exhibitors 1,261 in total, including tanneries, accessory producers, and suppliers of components, textiles, and synthetic materials from 43 countries) focused keenly on showcasing products that highlighted natural materials and consistently elevated quality.
In terms of future market prospects, despite the current slowdown in manufacturing, the high end leather goods sector is expected to rebound first.
LINEAPELLE’s forward thinking approach was further amplified by its synergy with Simac Tanning Tech , the international fair for technology in leather, footwear, and leather goods sectors, which celebrated its 50th edition at Fiera Milano Rho.
The next edition of LINEAPELLE will take place at Fiera Milano Rho from February 25 27 , 2025 , and will showcase collections for the Summer 2026 season.
