IN THE PRESENCE AND IN MAXIMUM SECURITY,
LINEAPELLE RETURNS TO MILAN FROM 22 TO 24 FEBRUARY 2022
WITH OVER 950 EXHIBITORS
An expected fair. A safe fair. A trade fair that meets the needs of the market.
From 22 to 24 February 2022, at Fieramilano Rho, Lineapelle returns with the 99th edition in its traditional exhibition halls (9/11, 13/15, 22/24). It does so by guaranteeing exhibitors and visitors a fair experience in the utmost safety in relation to all anti-Covid protocols and by opening its doors, as per the recent approval of a Decree-Law by the Council of Ministers, also to buyers not vaccinated with EMA vaccine (Sputnik, Sinovac, Soberana, Covaxin) as long as they present a negative swab, both antigenic (valid 48 hours) and molecular (valid 72 hours).
Open doors to the Lineapelle community
The opening of the Green Corridors reinforces the strategic importance of Lineapelle 99's decision to confirm its running from Tuesday 22nd to Thursday 24th February. Therefore, the Lineapelle community is ready to discover the Spring-Summer 2023 collections developed under the banner of sustainable creativity and refinement, concepts that combine aesthetic perfection and revolutionary applications of treatments, finishes and colours. All in the light of a desire to instil optimism and a sense of rebirth.
More than 950 exhibitors
More than 950 exhibitors (two-thirds of them Italian) from 31 countries, 30% more than the September 2021 edition, the last one held in attendance. A number not far from the pre-Covid one. Almost 500 tanneries are present; over 300 accessories and components manufacturers; 100 fabrics and synthetics manufacturers.
A value of 150 billion
The economic branch represented by the exhibition sectors of Lineapelle 99, between international supply and demand, is worth 150 billion dollars and employs about one and a half million people. Italian exhibitors make around 8 billion euros a year, 70% of which comes from exports.
Italian leather
The protagonist of the exhibition has recognised the excellence of Made in Italy: "Italian leather", synonymous with the highest quality and sustainability, an indispensable tool for high-end production destined for international consumption. Excellence holds indisputable production records (22% of the global total, 65% of the European total) and is unrivalled in technical, environmental and social responsibility standards. Although the tanning sector has been severely affected by the pandemic, it has continued to invest in research and innovation.
